10 years trying to make my hair acceptable… I was always trying new hair products, creams, techniques, different ways of straightening it… always a huge battle between me and my hair. There was a point on my life where I decided not to trust any more hairdressers, because no one could understand the fear I had of cutting my hair.

I spent 3 years without cutting my hair and with all of these unhealthy habits, I lost my curls. I was so naive that I honestly thought that my hair was getting straighter with time, but no, it was just very ruined. With all this, I’ve gotten loads of broken hairs and split ends, but I still continued to do all of this. I thought it was normal.

The next few years, were years of being very subtle with my hair. I decided not to use any kind of heat on my hair, to cut it more frequently and to give it better products.

I searched online on how to have more curl definition back in 2016, stopped using my every day straightener and I came all this way having learnt some new techniques and tips for my hair. I had to go through a long, long hair transition because of my ruined hair… but now, 2019, I’ve never seen my hair so beautiful just because I decided to take well care of it some years ago.
