Mask-Milk Ultra Soft Garnier

Well, today we will finally talk about this hair mask that gave so much to talk about when it got to supermarkets!

Garnier Ultra Soft Milk Hair – Mask Honey

Analyzing the Ingredients…

We can see from the Ingredients that this mask is not heavy at all. It does not have many ingredients in its composition considering that it is a hair mask to moisturize hair.

The ingredient that is found most in addition to water is Glycerin, and Cetearyl Alcohol which are both great ingredients for attracting water to the hair moisturizing it. They are Humectants.

Humectants are ingredients used in hair products to promote retention of water. They are hydrophilic substances, which contain a chemical structure that attracts water from the atmosphere.

This product has Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, a hair conditioner positively charged.

The positively charged conditioning ingredients allow interaction with the hair. Wet hair generally has a negative electric charge, which means that this conditioning agent will attach to the hair and will not come out easily with water. This will leave a conditioner layer on your hair to help reduce friction on your hair and give it more movement, less frizz and a smoother look.

This ingredient is also good at preventing product accumulation in the hair as it occurs in silicones or quaternary products.

My opinion about this product

Well, this product on its first I found very, very light, both in terms of viscosity and action for the hair.

That is, it seems like I need to add large amounts of product to get the hair mask result I want, but the truth is that we curlies always seem to be used to heavy masks with a thousand ingredients, therefore, I find it a good choice for those days when hair need to rest from these heavier ingredients.

If you want, you can also try styling your hair with this product.

This product is definitely great for hair with low porosity, wavy hair that does not get along with very heavy hair products.

Probably on high porosity hair (which is the vast majority of curly) this product will not be so fantastic since the Fructis Hair Food Masks is a better option.

I didn’t think it was fantastic on my hair and it’s a product I use on days when I want to rest my hair, so I have no intention of buying again.

Now I want to know your opinion! 😊Have you tried this product? What did you think of it? Tell me whether you have high or low porosity to test if you really found the same opinion as me! 😘

I also found this mask very light. I tried to co-wash, I didn't like it.
And yes, in the days to rest the hair I also try to use in the finishing and it is not bad.
    Like cheiro😊

    • Hi Andreia, thanks for your comment! 😃
I have exactly the same opinion as you! At least it's useful on lighter finishing days!
      A huge kiss 😘
