Baby Hair - Growing hair that appears on top of the head more thin and fragile.

Bad Hair Day - A bad hair day.

Big Chop (BC) - Large cut in the hair in order to remove the chemical or hair in transition.

Build Up – Accumulation of product / sebum in the hair, which leaves a feeling of molasses, dandruff and little definition.

Co washCO from Conditioner and WASH Washing: wash with conditioner at the root of the hair.

Pineapple - Strategy of putting the hair up in order to sleep without kneading the curls.

Dry Cutting - Cut the curls with dry hair at the hairdresser.

Chemical Cut - It happens when there are many types of chemical / heat in excess or incompatibility of procedures in the hair in such a way that there is loss of the capillary structure. The cut comes from the easy break that the hair automatically has.

Hair Cronogram - Care routine that combines three treatment hair masks: hydration, nutrition and reconstruction.

Day After - Day after washing your hair.

Finger Coiling - Texturing technique that consists of rolling locks with your fingers, as if you were a modeler.

Diffuser - Accessory placed on the tip of the dryer that assists in volume and definition.

Styling - Way to take care of the hair after washing (fixing, texturing or just passing the cream on locks of hair).

Finisher / leave in / comb cream / texturing cream / curls activator - Types of hair creams that do not require washing after installation. These creams help to define snails.

Fitagem - Texturing technique that helps to define snails.

Frizz - Natural characteristic of all types of hair, in which small hairs rise to the atmosphere due to lack of hydration.

Hydration - Replenish the water in the hair.

Humidifier - Hair spray suitable for day after.

– I –

Ingredient compatible / incompatible - Product that may not be or be compatible with the Curly Girl method.

Low PooLOW and POO of shamPOO, therefore, use a shampoo with less foam, without sulfates, in hair wash.

CG Method – Método Curly Girl.

COG Method - (cream + oil + gelatin) Finish with combing cream, oil and gelatin for hair.

LOC Method - (liquid + oil + cream) Use a spray bottle with water, oil and cream to comb.

No Poo - Do not wash your hair with any type of shampoo.

Nutrition - Replenish nutrients and lipids in the hair.

Pre Poo - Product placed on hair before shampooing. It can be done with masks, conditioners or oils.

Thermal Protector - Product that protects hair from excessive heat when using a hairdryer, straightening irons or babyliss.

Chemical Damage - Type of treatment done that modifies the natural shape of the hair (straightening, relaxation, excess of straightening irons, etc.)

Reconstruction - Replenish the protein in the hair.

Refresh - Hair care on the day after.

Review - Opinion about a product.

Scab Hair - Type of hair that appears mainly in the transition, being an intermediate between curly and straightened hair.

Texturing - Definition of curly hair with different techniques.

Hair Transition - Transition period for natural hair.
